Abstract

The authors explore the Fermat-Torricelli Theorem in a proof without words using GeoGebra. They provide two alternative approaches to the theorem and discuss connections to other geometry problems accessible to secondary level teachers and their students.

Moshe Stupel is a professor of mathematics education at Gordon College and Shaanan College, Haifa, Israel. His area of research is focused on various methods of problem solving as well as variance and invariance property in dynamic geometrical environments in mathematics. To his credit, Moshe has more than 120 articles and two books on technology and mathematics education.
